This work compares Australian workers 65 years after the famous painting by John Brack ‘Collins Street 5pm’. Brack described the piece as “Blank-faced office workers hurry by like sleep-walkers, thinking only of the pubs or their homes in the suburbs". 65 years later during a global pandemic, have our thoughts and actions even changed?
