"Through the lonely room, this piece comments on the alone time one spends with their ego (nafs). The image provokes thoughts and questions, such as, what do we think about when we are alone with our ego and how does being alone with our ego feel? The stillness and the quietness of the room seeks to inspire the viewer to think about their relationship with their ego."
